Updated Skillgain, Young Status, Automated Saves

Experimental changes to skillgain now set into stone, less auto saves and a change in revocation-policy of players' young status. This patch is expected to be applied at about 14:00-16:00 GMT.

The changes brought forth last week in how skillgain is calculated turned out to work very well, so they are now set into stone. Ava is reported to consider raising the difficulty of skillgain up a notch once more in a few weeks, though: "So raise your characters now, ladies and gentlemen, it's not going to become any easier".

With this week's update the revocation of players' young player status is finally implemented as intended. Before this update, the young status was lost after 40 hours of game play or approximately 400 skill points in total. "We felt that this was a gift to our transitioning player base, but now that people are more established, we can apply the usual calculation modus for young players", Ava explained. Young player status can now be enjoyed for 40 hours of game time, 350 skill points or 150 stat points total or until 80 points in any stats or 70% in any skill - whichever comes first.

Also within this week's update is a change in the amount of worldsaves. Since the server showed a flawless mode of operation while in normal use for more than 50 days, when the test was finally aborted and the server shut down manually, the worldsave intervals will be changed to once every 12 hours.
